The immigration program of Canada is so comprehensive and has so many branches to attract/accommodate people from diverse backgrounds. Each program entails a specific field and requirements for intended immigrants.
People around the world have divergent backgrounds considering Canada as their second home or destination country. This is so, because of a better living standard, values of humanity (regardless of ethnic background), free education and health facilities, liberty, environment etc.
There are a number of pathways to immigrate to Canada which include Skilled Immigration, Business Immigration and Family Immigration.

Skilled immigration

Canada has an ambitious plan of welcoming over 400,000 new immigrants to Canada from 2021 to 2023 under the skilled immigration category. Skilled immigrants are those who are educated and have the potential to maneuver or positively contribute to the Canadian economy.
There are different streams to skill immigration namely, Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Quebec Skilled Workers Program, Atlantic Immigration Program, Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot, Agri Food Pilot etc.

Express Entry

Express Entry is one of the most popular immigration programs of the Canadian Government. It is an online system which is made for those people who wish to get Canadian PR (permanent settlement). It is an entirely score-based program for those who demonstrate an ability to establish themselves in the Canadian market. Points are based on several factors such as education, work experience, age, language ability, adaptability and whether you have a valid job offer.

In a score grid system, an applicant needs to have 67 score (out of 100) to be eligible to apply for Express Entry.
Once a profile is created by our team, your score in the Express Entry system will be calculated via a CRS (comprehensive Ranking System). You will be competing with other candidates already in the pool based on your CRS score.

Once you are selected, you will be showing the means of you being financially sound to meet initial settlement costs in Canada. Our experienced staff will assist you in detail regarding the mechanism of showing the required funds. Furthermore, after your selection, your whole family would be getting Permanent Residency, so all of your family members would undergo a medical examination followed by security clearance as part of the requirements laid down by the Canadian Immigration system.Express Entry has three main Economic Class Categories:

– Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSW)

– Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

– Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

PNP is the second largest immigration program. Each province in Canada is independent to nominate suitable candidates who have the required skill, education and experience. Each Province sets its own requirements and nominates those candidates who have the potential to significantly contribute to the economy of the Province and have the desire to live in that Province. PNP nominated candidates also get their Permanent Residency status in Canada and enjoy all the facilities and perks provided by the Canadian government including health and education. Provinces of Canada invite over 80,000 immigrants each year to come and settle in Canada under Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).

There are two separate streams in Provincial Nominee Programs. One is Express Entry stream which is designed for those immigrants who have a valid Express Entry profile in Express Entry Pool. Whereas, the second stream is a ‘base’ stream which is independent from Express Entry and which does not require an Express Entry Profile and candidates under PNP program are directly selected by the Provinces.

Currently, there are over 80 immigration streams for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), considering the requirements of different streams, our experienced staff would evaluate your case thoroughly and would recommend you the most appropriate immigration stream which suits best to your background.
